Flint Funeral Home was established in 1924 by Neil C. Flint who operated the funeral home in Moira until 1948 at which time his son Everett O. Flint joined his father and opened Flint Funeral Home, Brushton. After his father's death, he continued to operate the funeral home in Brushton and Moira until his retirement in 1995.
In 1995, Craig G. Curran purchased the funeral home, and in 2014 James M. Sienkiewycz, a native of the of the North Country purchased the funeral home. Since 1924 the Flint Funeral Home still remains to be a family owned community minded establishment. For over 90 years it has earned the reputation of a "Neighbor helping a Neighbor during a difficult time".
"Death leaves a Heartache that no one can heal, but love leaves a MEMORY no one can steal."
When death affected my family first my dad in 2005 and then my mom in 2014 we were devastate.
My dad worked for over 40 years in the Pot Rooms at Reynolds Metals Co, and was a brilliant man who
could do anything. My mom was an amazing home maker who will always be remembered for her
home made bread, and her amazing doughnuts. However my siblings will never forget how we had
parents that were always there for their children. These are just a few Memories I have of my mom and
dad that no one can steal, I encourage all to take the time and remember those special people who were
instrumental in your life.
